Tragic scenes strikes Ghana once again as a Ghanaian footballer lost his life after collapsing on a training ground in Zambia.
Justice Salasi Oko, a 25-year-old Ghanaian footballer who went for preliminaries at Zambian Division 1 side Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy collapsed and later passed on amid preparing, Central Province Commissioner of Police Chola Katanga has uncovered.
Amid his first gathering with columnists in Kabwe, Katanga said “We recorded the demise of unnatural cause on 31st December 2018, where one Justice Salasi Oko, a footballer of Ghanaian nationality came to Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy for preliminaries yet as he was running with the group he crumbled. He was hurried to Mahatma Gandhi and later alluded to Kabwe Central Hospital where he kicked the bucket”.
He unveiled that Oko was brought by Frank Simunji, a football operator and that his dad in Ghana has been told, including that customs are being made at their consulate on how the memorial service will continue.
