The third session of the 11th Congregation of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) dated July 26, 2019, was held at UPSA auditorium to celebrate the graduands of the University. A day amongst their few or many days to be ever remembered. This day celebrated a total number of 1,435 students pursuing various programmes. Out of the total number of students were 1,119 being undergraduates whilst 316 were diploma students.
This day, however, was also a day marked to celebrate some teaching staff of the university. Individual lecturers who have contributed immensely to the academic successes of the students.
Ibn Kailan Abdul-Hamid is a PhD product in Marketing at the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship of the University of Ghana. He has carried out a number of practitioner and academic surveys giving him quality experience in both quantitative and qualitative data gathering and analysis, interpretation of findings and proven ability in conducting literature reviews.
He has published in reputable journals and has demonstrated sufficient capacity to link theory with practice. Mr Abdul-Hamid has participated in several surveys for both local and international agencies including ActionAid Ghana, RAINS, Calimark Consulting Limited, Ring Africa Consultants Limited, amongst others.
“The honour done him is a deserving one”, according to his colleagues in the Marketing Department and other departments.
